Initially I thought I had it all planned out
I thought I knew where I was going
I thought it was all clear, fogless and all
Then I took a step, thinking it was forward
somehow
I moved backwards
I didn't go towards where I wanted my feet to take me
I went the opposite direction

Then I'm lost

Because
I wasn't even heading towards my destination at all
I didn't lose sight of it
I can still see it
But the wind's blowing me in the opposite direction
But I'm not going there at all

Suddenly, I can't see it
And I'm moving anywhere
But in the right direction
